the "mistake"

well went in for a typical gj switch b/c it was leaking. thinking would come up and leave right away. after a little bit of waiting the dr. came in and said we had some problems and some descions that need to be made NOW. basically, the scope went in the wrong place and poked a whole in the stomach and made it fall agains the wall. and would have to immediatly open him up and fix him. why they were at it they wanted to know about doing part of the surgery they were going to do in the future that day.  So they did the plyroplasty, redone fundo and did a muscle biopsy.  while they were in there they found a hernia and fixed it.  We will now have at least 4 to 5 days in the hospital.  Here we thought we would go home right away.  Had to really change our schedules fast.  Right now he is just trying to recover.
